dojo/on capturing and bubbling phase of events

PaulChristopher
How can I "capture" events using dojo/on? I could not find any information on this in the docs. dojo/on seems to deal with the bubbling phase of events only...

shane
What do you mean by, "capture", and can you give a couple of examples of the types of events you're working with?

See for example http://www.quirksmode.org/blog/archives/2008/04/delegating_the.html:

You can capture focus events - since the do not bubble - by adding true, e.g.

$('testParagraph').addEventListener('focus',handleEventPar,true);

So maybe this is something for Dojo 2.0? IE >= 9 supports capturing of events - as far as I know.

Kenneth G. Franqueiro
FYI I had a brief conversation with Kris about this, and adding
consideration for capture phase in the dojo/on API for 2.0 definitely
sounds plausible.
