Some text missing from dojo book

Sawant, Ramdas (IT)

Hi all,

This is my first post to this list. I am newbie to dojo(just 2 days). Today I was going through the dojo book which is available online on the official site of dojo. But I noticed few test missing. E.g. under the section debugAtAllCosts in part 1 I am not able to see the code after the line “To use it needs one more line in your page. Here's how you might use it”. Similar thing is noticed in other sections also at few places. Can someone tell what the problem is? Or the documentation is still not complete. Please let me know. Also is there any book (online or hardcopy) to refer for dojo. Please suggest where should I start. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ramdas Sawant

Can you provide a link to the page you are looking at? Most likely what happened was straight code was pasted in and the tags are getting stripped out.... I just went through this problem yesterday migrating all the FAQ data to the new website.

Re: Some text missing from dojo book

Milinda Pathirage
Hi,

Also there is a mistake in the http://manual.dojotoolkit.org/Book105 page.

What sorts of datastores are available?

As of January 2007, we have five simple datastores, which are included in dojo as example datastore implementations. The four datastores are:

First it says about five datastores  and list has five datastores, but in the second sentence if mistakenly wrriten as four.

Cheers,
Milinda
